42. The first 20?weeks of pregnancy is a high-risk period for eating disorder relapse.LinkIT
Sollid C, Clausen L, Maimburg RD
The International journal of eating disordersInt J Eat DisordThe first 20?weeks of pregnancy is a high-risk period for eating disorder relapse.10.1002/eat.23620Eating disorders (ED) are associated with adverse pregnancy outcome and pregnancy is associated with both relapse and remission of ED. Knowledge is lacking on the risk of ED relapse during pregnancy and the postpartum period for women in stable remission. This study examined the occurrence of perinatal ED relapse as well as obstetric and postpartum outcome in women with at least a 6-month ED remission before pregnancy.A total of 122 women in stable remission before pregnancy were included in a prospective longitudinal study. Changes in ED symptoms based on the Eating Disorder Examination were systematically evaluated at each antenatal visit and in the postpartum period.A total of 30 (25%) women relapsed. Twenty women relapsed within the first 20?weeks of pregnancy and eight in the early weeks postpartum. Severe postpartum depression symptoms (33%) were frequent in women with ED relapse; hyperemesis gravidarum (30%) was frequently present independent of the woman's relapse status. To prevent relapse of ED and possible consequences, attention to relapse in women in stable remission is especially important in early pregnancy and in the postpartum period.© 2021 Wiley Periodicals LLC.SollidCharlotteChttps://orcid.org/0000-0002-2433-6583Perinatal Epidemiological Research Unit, Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark.Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark.ClausenLoaLhttps://orcid.org/0000-0002-4559-8347Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark.Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark.MaimburgRikke DamkjaerRDhttps://orcid.org/0000-0003-1776-5475Perinatal Epidemiological Research Unit, Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark.Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark.Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Health, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark.engThe Danish Association of MidwiferyThe Health Science Research Fund at Aarhus University Hospital Health Research FundJournal Article20210928United StatesInt J Eat Disord81112260276-3478IManorexia nervosabulimia nervosadepression postpartumeating disorder relapsefeeding and eating disordersmidwiferyparturitionpregnancy outcomeprenatal carevulnerable populations2021082620210316202109152021929602021929602021928957aheadofprint3458144910.1002/eat.23620REFERENCES, 2021
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=0

43. Emotional reactivity to binge food and erotic cues in women with bulimia nervosa symptoms.
Hernández-Rivero I, Blechert J, Miccoli L, Eichin KN, Fernández-Santaella MC, Delgado-Rodríguez R
Journal of eating disorders, 2021
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=0

44. Editorial: The Altered Brain Network Architecture of Anorexia Nervosa.
Desrivières S
Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, 2021
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=0

45. Exocrine Pancreatic Function in Girls with Anorexia Nervosa.
Malczyk ?, Roczniak W, Mazur B, Kwiecie?
